John Kinyon, Certified NVC Trainer:
CNVC Certified Trainer, John Kinyon, leads participants through two Observation Exercises to strengthen their ability to be present. Through the exercises, John distinguishes the difference between feelings, which are emotions felt inside the body, and observations which are witness to our experience. John further discusses why it is our thinking that causes our suffering rather than the external experience.
Observation Exercises
- Observation Exercise 1 teaches you how to explore witnessing presence(observing) without evaluating or even thinking. This allows you to develop a more direct and intimate perception of your world.
- Observation Exercise 2 offers you the practice of being the witness, observing your inner thoughts to develop clarity and connection with self, developing your inner observational skills.
