Inbal Kashtan, Certified NVC Trainer:
Please join us as we pause and remember the work and life of Inbal Kashtan, a beloved trainer, who died on Saturday, September 6, after seven years of living with ovarian cancer. As a way of honoring Inbal, we're offering her last training with us free to anyone. She offered this Q&A session in our 2013 Parenting Conference. At the time, Inbal was in the throes of her cancer treatments and it had been her first training in a few years.
Her big heart and bright spirit shine through in this Q&A. If you've worked with Inbal in the past, and you're like us, this Q&A will be a touching memory of her. If you haven't experienced her work, this is an opportunity to be newly inspired.
Inbal will be remembered for many things, most especially her pioneering vision and work supporting parents in raising new nonviolent generations, her down-to-earth way of bringing NVC principles into everyday parenting, and the depth of compassion she lavished on parents and children alike.
To Inbal's family, we send our love and compassionate hearts for your grief.
To dear Inbal, we send our love and deepest gratitude for how you graced our lives. You will be missed by many.
If you'd like to make a donation in Inbal's memory, her family recommends the following options:
- The Clearity Foundation — dedicated to improving treatment options for ovarian cancer patients.
- Bend the Arc: a Jewish Partnership for Justice.
- BayNVC — A special fund will be designated to bring some of Inbal's unpublished writings on NVC to completion and publication. Additional funds will be used for scholarships for the BayNVC Social Justice Program.
Bowing in respect,
NVC Academy Team
