In the Needs Cafe, Gesina and Shantigarbha explore a playful, practical way to become more familiar with needs and expand the language available for expressing them. Through a series of exercises using needs disks, they practice different ways of speaking about needs, including “I love,” “I thrive on,” “I’m longing for,” and “it’s important to me,” as both statements and questions. They discover how varied language can make expressing needs feel more natural, flexible, and connecting, while giving and receiving needs can feel like a gift. This is part 3 of 3 lessons.
